We had our wedd...
We had our wedding and reception in Elk Grove Park. We used Strauss Island and the Gazebo for our wedding, and the Rotary Grove area for our Bar-B-Que Reception.
The wedding party walked across the bridge from the gazebo to Strauss Island. It was beautiful and surrounded by water. There were ducks in the water, and little sail boats and lots of room. The changing are was great and large enough for the gentlemen prior to the wedding, and the ladies to change out of their bridal clothes after the wedding, for the reception.
The Rotary Grove was perfect for the D.J. and all of our guests. We even had dancing and played football. It went very well for August and the sun. The cover hid the sun and the shade trees were perfect for that cool air that blew through.
I greatly appreciate the use of your facility and encourage others to use it as well for their perfect outdoor wedding and reception.
